To thoroughly implement General Secretary Xi Jinping's important instructions on "cultivating a batch of 'specialized, refined, distinctive, and innovative' small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs)", and to implement the General Office of the CPC Central Committee and the State Council's "Guiding Opinions on Promoting the Healthy Development of SMEs", the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology has announced the fourth batch of specialized, refined, distinctive, and innovative "Little Giant" enterprises. Suzhou Changguang Huaxin Optoelectronics Technology Co., Ltd. has been selected as a national-level specialized, refined, distinctive, and innovative "Little Giant" enterprise.

Changguang Huaxin focuses on the research and production of semiconductor laser chips. Its core technologies cover the most critical areas of the semiconductor laser industry, overcoming long-standing technical challenges in epitaxial growth, cavity surface treatment, packaging, and fiber coupling. It has established a fully independent and controllable complete process platform and mass production line from chip design, MOCVD (epitaxy), FAB wafer fabrication, cleaving/coating, packaging, testing, optical coupling, to direct semiconductor lasers. It is one of the few IDM semiconductor laser companies globally with key process production capabilities such as 6-inch line epitaxy and wafer manufacturing, strongly promoting the rapid development of China's ultra-high power laser technology and its applications.
