Deepening localized cooperation to drive overseas market expansion
Japan, with its mature consumer market, high-tech industrial demands, and policy-supported open environment, has become a critical region for Chinese enterprises expanding abroad. The OPIE Photonics Exhibition, Japan's largest and most comprehensive trade show, brings together cutting-edge technologies and innovations in photonics, lasers, optics, and sensors.

At the exhibition, Everbright's comprehensive product portfolio and semiconductor laser solutions attracted numerous professional visitors and key partners for in-depth discussions. Japan serves as a pivotal node in Everbright's global strategic layout. The company will continue to deepen its presence in this market, enhance localized cooperation, and drive technological innovation and industrial upgrades.
Best Paper Award at the 2025 OWPT Conference
The 7th Optical Wireless and Fiber Power Transmission Conference (OWPT2025), a sub-conference of OPIC, is being held concurrently with the OPIE exhibition. Dr. Yudan Gou from Sichuan University, in collaboration with Everbright, presented a paper titled "Multi-Junction Metamorphic 1064nm Laser Power Converters" (Authors: Yudan Gou, Zhiqiang Mou, Di Feng, Yongji Chen, Jun Wang).
The paper introduces a laser energy wireless transmission solution that converts laser energy, transmitted through free space or optical fiber, into electrical energy via laser power converters at the receiving end. This technology provides continuous power supply for devices operating in electromagnetically-interfered environments or in motion.
The paper has been shortlisted as a candidate for the OWPT Best Paper Award (final results to be announced during the closing ceremony on April 25). This recognition highlights Everbright's achievements in integrating research, academia, and industry.
The presentation will take place on April 25 from 11:00 to 11:15 a.m. (JST) in Meeting Room 416+417 at the conference center. Scholars, professionals, and interested attendees in related fields are warmly invited to join and exchange insights.
The exhibition is ongoing, and Everbright looks forward to your visit at Booth N-25!

The Optics & Photonics International Exhibition (OPIE) in Yokohama will continue until April 25 at the Yokohama Exhibition Center. Booth N-25 is eagerly awaiting your visit!
