Since the establishment of the provincial Enterprise Technology Innovation Award in 2011, it is the first company in Suzhou High-tech Zone to receive this award, and one of the 19 companies in Suzhou that have been approved for this award.

Changguang Huaxin was founded in 2012 by overseas-returned PhDs and the Changchun Institute of Optics, Fine Mechanics and Physics, Chinese Academy of Sciences, and was listed on the Shanghai Stock Exchange Science and Technology Innovation Board (688048) in 2022. It is the first domestic laser chip stock. Over the past ten years, starting from scratch, several core technical personnel have devoted themselves to difficult technical research and key technological innovations. With the support of national scientific research projects and provincial and municipal local governments, focusing on the core indicators of high-power semiconductor laser chips (power, brightness, lifespan, and efficiency), major breakthroughs have been made in three key technical areas: cavity facet cleaving and passivation treatment, chip structure design and fabrication process, and epitaxial structure design and material growth. , it has grown into one of the few IDM semiconductor laser companies globally with key process production capabilities such as 6-inch line epitaxy and wafer manufacturing, strongly promoting the rapid development of China's ultra-high-power laser technology and its applications, solving the problem of "having devices but no chips" in China. The company has a strong R&D team, forming a core innovation team led by Dr. Wang Jun and composed of multiple overseas-returned PhDs. In the past three years, the company has attracted high-end talents through a unique incentive mechanism and its own R&D platform advantages.
