On April 15, Suzhou Industry and Information Technology announced the first batch of recognized advanced technology research institutes for Suzhou's innovative leading enterprises, with Changguang Huaxin approved. Advanced Technology Research Institute for Semiconductor Laser Technology Innovative Leading Enterprises 。

The Advanced Technology Research Institute for Semiconductor Laser Technology Innovative Leading Enterprises is dedicated to the research and development of high-power single-chip devices, vertical-cavity surface-emitting lasers (VCSEL), and fiber-coupled pump source modules, addressing the technological challenges of power and brightness limitations of semiconductor lasers across multiple bands. It aims to establish a technology system with independent intellectual property rights, promote the transformation of original core technologies into new products and bring them to market, and integrate various innovation resources to carry out industry-academia-research exchanges and industry cooperation.

Based on the advanced technology research institute platform, Changguang Huaxin has increased the brightness of single-chip devices to 100 MW/cm². 2 The stable operating power of sr has increased by more than 40W, solving the cavity surface damage problem caused by increased power density; in terms of VCSEL, a quasi-continuous power 1000W 808nm VCSEL array has been developed; a continuous power 1000W 976nm 200±10μm fiber-coupled pump source module has been developed...
The announced advanced technology research institutes are the first batch in Suzhou. Changguang Huaxin will fully leverage the platform advantages, continuously carry out core technology breakthroughs, industry-academia-research collaboration, promote achievement transformation and industry exchanges, ensuring the international competitiveness and healthy development of China's laser industry.
