As the core component of lasers, high-power semiconductor single-bar chips directly affect the size and cost of laser systems. After years of iteration, commercial chip power reached 50W in 2023. Higher power remains the industry's focus, representing the development level of comprehensive chip technology. The highest known level recently achieved a breakthrough in structural design and manufacturing technology with the ultra-high-power single-bar chip from Changguang Huaxin. The developed single-bar chip has a continuous power exceeding 100W at room temperature (chip stripe width 500μm) and an efficiency of 62%, making it the highest power single-bar chip reported to date.

On November 9, at the "2022 Laser Processing Industry - Jung Technology Innovation Award" ceremony hosted by Jung Industrial Media, Changguang Huaxin's "640W 976nm 200μm Fiber Coupled Module" won the Jung Technology Innovation Award. This marks the fifth consecutive year since 2018 that Changguang Huaxin has received this honor after first participating in the Jung Technology Innovation Award.
