High-power semiconductor single-bar chips, as the core components of lasers, have power levels that directly affect the size and cost of laser systems. After years of iteration, commercial chip power reached 50W in 2023. Higher power remains the industry's focus, representing the development level of comprehensive chip technology capabilities.
The highest known level to date
Recently, Changguang Huaxin's ultra-high-power single-bar chip has made breakthrough progress in structural design and manufacturing technology. The developed single-bar chip achieves continuous power over 100W at room temperature (chip bar width 500μm) with an operating efficiency of 62%, setting the highest known power record for single-bar chips reported so far, ushering in a new era of hundred-watt single-bar chips!

From January 30 to February 1, Changguang Huaxin will debut its high-power technology at the 2024 SPIE Photonics West exhibition in San Francisco, USA. At that time, Changguang Huaxin's high-power semiconductor laser chips, LiDAR and 3D sensing chips, high-speed optical communication chips, fiber-coupled modules, arrays, and direct semiconductor lasers and other full series products will also be exhibited at the booth! #2367 Booth exhibition!

Changguang Huaxin focuses on the research and production of semiconductor laser chips, with core technologies covering the most critical areas of the semiconductor laser industry.
