Changguang Huaxin has VCSEL and EEL two major types of LiDAR chips:
■ In-vehicle VCSEL LiDAR chips
Featuring high energy density, low divergence angle, and high efficiency, multi-junction VCSELs can achieve higher peak power with a smaller emitting area, meeting the sensing distance requirements of LiDAR. They have advantages of simple optical systems, miniaturization, and cost-effectiveness. Changguang Huaxin offers 905nm, 30W/60W products.
■ In-vehicle EEL edge-emitting lasers
Characterized by high power density and high pulse peak power, very suitable for LiDAR systems using APD detectors. Changguang Huaxin offers 905nm, 75W/125W (3-junction)/160W (4-junction)/500W (3-junction 4-channel)/1200W (4-junction 8-channel) products, meeting the increasing demands for 905nm pulsed laser diode output power and optical point cloud density in LiDAR.
■ 1550nm fiber laser pump source chip
1550nm LiDAR generally uses fiber lasers as the light source, which have high output power, good beam quality, fast speed, and higher eye safety, making them ideal for high-performance systems. Changguang Huaxin offers 1550nm fiber laser pump source chip products.


■ 3D sensing ToF (Time-of-Flight)
ToF solutions have the advantages of simple algorithms and low cost, widely used in facial recognition and short-range sensing. Changguang Huaxin offers 808nm 1W, 940nm 2W/3W products.
■ 3D sensing SL (Structured Light)
SL solutions can achieve higher accuracy and precision at short distances. Changguang Huaxin offers 940nm 1.5W products.


■ VCSEL laser hair removal (808nm)
808nm VCSEL laser chips are small in size, have high beam quality, high electro-optical conversion efficiency, long lifespan, low cost, and stable performance, perfectly matching the trend of hair removal products towards commercialization, home use, and lightweight design. Besides the 808nm 3W chip products, Changguang Huaxin can also provide customers with 808nm 40W (CW) VCSEL high-power packaged modules and offer customized solutions according to customer needs, adjusting power, wavelength, layout size, and packaging design.
■ Laser heating (940nm)
VCSEL does not require fiber coupling systems, is very compact, and can precisely control heat. Meanwhile, the narrow bandwidth characteristic allows VCSEL to match the specific absorption spectrum of material processing, making it a new generation heating source. Changguang Huaxin offers 940nm 3W products.
June 22 at 9:30 AM , Dr. Liu Heng, Senior Engineer of Changguang Huaxin R&D Department and VCSEL Product Line Manager, will at Laser Session (Hall F, 3rd Floor, F302) give a "Special Report on High-Performance VCSEL Chips for LiDAR" presentation, introducing Changguang Huaxin's latest research progress in VCSEL.
