Everbright Shines Bright With The Gold Award At CIOE 2025!

On September 10, at the 2025 China Optoelectronics Expo Award Ceremony in Shenzhen, Everbright proudly received the Gold Award for its project "Key Technologies and Industrialization of High-Power Diode Laser Chips."

 

 

Mr. Cao Jianlin, Vice Chairman of the Committee on Education, Science, Health and Sports of the CPPCC and former Vice Minister of the Ministry of Science and Technology, presented the Gold Award plaque to the winning enterprises.

 

The China Optoelectronics Expo Award was initiated by the organizing committee of the China International Optoelectronic Exposition (CIOE). The award aims to promote technological innovation and industrial development in the optoelectronics field, as well as to showcase and recognize advanced products and achievements.

The evaluation process consists of three rounds-preliminary, secondary, and final on-site review-covering multiple dimensions including technical performance, innovation, and market application value. The on-site jury is composed of more than ten distinguished experts, including Mr. Cao Jianlin, Vice Chairman of the CPPCC Committee on Education, Science, Health and Sports and former Vice Minister of the Ministry of Science and Technology, and Academician Gu Ying of the Chinese Academy of Sciences. After a full day of rigorous on-site evaluation, the final list of award winners is determined.

Since its inception in 2021, the China Optoelectronics Expo Award has grown into one of the most authoritative and influential awards in the optoelectronics industry.

 

 

As the core component of lasers, high-power diode laser chips hold strategic importance for applications in optical communications, advanced manufacturing, healthcare, and other high-tech fields.

The award-winning project, "Key Technologies and Industrialization of High-Power Diode Laser Chips," focuses on breakthroughs in critical performance indicators of high-power diode laser chips. Through continuous innovation, significant advancements have been achieved in power, lifetime, brightness, and efficiency.

With this project, a world-leading 6-inch wafer production line for high-power diode laser chips has been established, ensuring a fully self-controlled and integrated supply chain. The related products have been widely adopted by almost all domestic fiber and solid-state laser companies, as well as mainstream international laser manufacturers, playing a key role in fields such as advanced laser manufacturing and new energy vehicles.

This achievement addresses long-standing bottlenecks in China's laser industry, transforming the situation from "having devices without chips" to achieving true technological independence.
