From September 10 to 12, the 26th China International Optoelectronic Exposition (CIOE 2025) was grandly held at the Shenzhen World Exhibition & Convention Center, bringing together over 3,800 optoelectronic companies worldwide and focusing on eight core areas, including optical communication, laser manufacturing, AR/VR, and intelligent sensing.
Everbright made a dual appearance at Booth 4A071 (Laser Technology Expo) and Booth 12C61 (Optical Communication Expo), comprehensively showcasing the company's latest technologies and products in laser manufacturing, optical sensing, optical communication, medical optics, and optical display.
At this year's CIOE, Everbright made a striking debut with its brand-new sleek black design, not only unveiling multiple groundbreaking new products, but also delivering in-depth presentations on cutting-edge technologies.

01 32 kW Direct Diode Laser
Everbright Develops 32 kW Direct Diode Laser for Large-Area Heating Applications
Everbright has developed a 32 kW Direct Diode Laser tailored for large-area heating applications such as lithium battery electrode drying, perovskite coating drying, and annealing crystallization.
Ultra-high output power: up to 32 kW with power stability ≤ ±1.5%, ensuring stable heating performance.
Advanced homogenization optics: equipped with an L-shaped large-area homogenizing lens, achieving a working distance of 1 m and an effective spot size of 1.4 × 0.6 m.
Superior uniformity: spot uniformity greater than 93%, guaranteeing consistent temperature distribution during processing.
This breakthrough product provides a new alternative to traditional heating methods such as hot air convection and infrared radiation, offering an innovative solution for next-generation large-area heating applications.
02 Launch of Medical Photonics Product Series
Everbright Medical Photonics Series – Comprehensive Deployment in Laser Therapy and Aesthetic Medicine
Everbright's Medical Photonics product portfolio makes a comprehensive layout in the two core fields of laser therapy and aesthetic medicine, with a focus on the following launches:

✔ 1450nm module: Precision systems for skin rejuvenation and wrinkle removal

03 200mW Uncooled CW DFB Optical Communication Chip
During the exhibition, Everbright released its 200 mW Uncooled CW DFB optical communication chip, featuring an optical output power of over 200 mW across the full temperature range, an electro-optical conversion efficiency of >20% at 80 °C, and reliable operation over a wide temperature range of 5 °C to 80 °C. The chip supports non-hermetic packaging and meets the Telcordia GR-468-CORE standard. This breakthrough directly supports the silicon photonics integration needs of 800G/1.6T optical modules, providing a key optical interconnect solution for AI computing infrastructure.

01 IFOC 2025 – High-Speed Chip Session
At the conference, Mr. Zhenlin Wu, Deputy General Manager of Everbright, delivered a keynote speech titled "High-Speed Optical Chips for AI Computing Centers." In his presentation, he highlighted the surging demand for high-speed optical chips driven by AI-era computing centers. From the perspective of upstream optical chip manufacturers, he explored localized solutions for the intelligent computing era and shared Everbright's latest research progress.
02 CIOE Laser Technology Empowering Healthcare Forum
Dr. Chun Wang, Overseas Sales Director of Everbright, delivered a keynote speech titled "High-Power Diode Lasers for Medical Applications." He shared the extensive applications of diode lasers across dermatology and aesthetics, ophthalmology, surgery, dentistry, oncology (PDT), physiotherapy (LLLT), and diagnostic imaging.
Diode lasers are not only the core light source of modern medical laser systems but also serve as a key driver advancing the field toward precision, intelligence, accessibility, and personalization.
03 CIOE Frontier Forum on High-Performance Photonic Integrated Chips
At Nvidia GTC 2025, the Spectrum-X and Quantum-X silicon photonics CPO switches were unveiled, while Broadcom officially launched its Tomahawk 6 switch in June 2025. The accelerated release of CPO products by leading players signals that CPO technology is officially entering the productization stage.
In current CPO solutions, external light sources are key components. As the technology evolves, the required CW light source chips for these external sources are seeing increasing optical power demands, gradually reaching several hundred milliwatts.
During the CIOE exhibition, Mr. Zhenlin Wu, Deputy General Manager of Everbright, delivered a keynote titled "Technology and Challenges of Optical Chips in the CPO Era." He discussed key technologies for high-power light sources and presented test results of CW lasers with output power exceeding 200 mW under uncooled conditions and wall-plug efficiency (WPE) >25% at 50 °C.
04 The 16th National Conference on Laser Processing
Dr. Gehang Xia, Process Director of Everbright's Laser Systems Division, delivered a keynote titled "High-Power Direct Diode Laser Heating and Drying Products and Their Applications."
He introduced Everbright's 32 kW high-power direct diode laser equipped with a large-area homogenizing lens assembly, primarily applied in large-area heating and drying processes, such as lithium battery electrode drying, perovskite coating drying, and annealing crystallization.
In addition, he presented medium-power direct diode laser homogenization products, including:
Single-axis adjustable bar-shaped homogenized spot
Dual-axis adjustable rectangular homogenized spot
These products feature flexible and tunable spot sizes, compatible with various application scenarios. Key applications include high-strength steel heat treatment, in-situ heating of carbon fiber reinforced composites, and assisted bonding for flip-chip devices.
