Driving the Future, Creating Brilliance: On March 15, the joint product launch event of Changguang Huaxin Laser System Division, Huarui Laser, and Golden Orange was successfully held in Suzhou. The three companies gathered with customers from the East China region to discuss opportunities and challenges in optical manufacturing development.

At the beginning of the meeting, Min Dayong, Chairman & General Manager of Changguang Huaxin, delivered a speech. Mr. Min stated that China's market economy has entered a new stage. Under the new environment, the future development of the laser industry depends on partners in the ecosystem to jointly create, establish trust, adhere to long-termism, jointly protect intellectual property rights, build a broader and stronger value chain, completely abandon short-term behaviors of "short, flat, and fast," and transform towards "specialized, refined, distinctive, and innovative." Deep participation in industrial division of labor and ecosystem construction is necessary. Only by achieving resource integration and coordinated development can we truly welcome high-quality development.

Chinese Optical Society Chen Chao, Secretary-General of the Laser Processing Committee, stated that human society is in an era full of change and opportunity. As an important pillar of advanced manufacturing, laser processing technology plays a key role in this technological revolution. We must grasp the trend, strengthen and supplement the chain, continuously enhance breakthroughs in key core technologies in the laser field, explore more laser application scenarios, and jointly move towards a platinum decade.

02|Laser Technology Development Continues to Empower Intelligent Manufacturing

Dr. Xia Gehang from Changguang Huaxin Application Process Department delivered a keynote report titled "Application of 1710nm Direct Semiconductor Laser in Transparent Plastic Welding," introducing the newly upgraded 1710nm product by Changguang Huaxin targeting the market demand for transparent/white plastic welding. Semiconductor Laser , of The flat-top distributed spot can achieve uniform and stable heating. Combined with the self-developed temperature control system, it can maintain constant temperature control during the welding process to prevent plastic overheating or false welding. Most transparent plastics have absorption peaks near the 1710nm band. The absorption rate for transparent/white plastics is several to ten times higher than lasers with shorter wavelengths. Lu Jinhua, East China Sales Manager of Changguang Huaxin, delivered a keynote report titled "Direct Semiconductor Laser Technology and Applications," introducing the principles and industrial applications of direct semiconductor lasers. Semiconductor lasers are favored by the market due to their high electro-optical conversion efficiency, wide wavelength selection range, small size, and long lifespan. They can be used as direct high-energy light sources in material processing and other fields. Because the laser output is direct, no conversion device is needed, reducing energy loss and achieving high electro-optical conversion efficiency. They have wide applications in laser soldering, plastic welding, metal heat conduction welding, handheld welding of metal thin plates, woodworking furniture glue edge sealing/curing, quenching, cladding, and other fields.
